CHI 2015

  • Posted on 19th April 2015

From April 19 – 23, 2015 I will be at the 2015 ACM Computer-Human Interaction (CHI) conference in Seoul, Korea. I’m (i) presenting a paper investigating long-term interactions with slow technology in the Reflecting on Design Reflection session (see reference below), (ii) judging the Student Design Competition, (iii) supporting my co-authors Audrey Desjardins and Ron Wakkary when they present our paper on HCI research on the home which surprisingly takes place in the ‘HCI in the Home’ session, (iv) chairing the Digital Content and Collections session, and (v) eating as much Korean food as possible.

Papers published at CHI this year I was part of:

Odom, W. (2015). Understanding Long-term Interactions with a Slow Technology: An Investigation of Experiences with FutureMe. In proceedings of SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems. Seoul, Korea. CHI ’15. ACM Press. (Local Copy)

Desjardins, A., Wakkary, R., Odom, W. (2015). Investigating Genres and Perspectives in HCI Research on the Home. In proceedings of SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems. Seoul, Korea. CHI ’15. ACM Press. (Local Copy)
